Why Work Here World class financial services company with operations in Canada and Europe Excellent boss that this role will report to that will provide lots of coaching and guidance Excellent team and culture Flexible working arrangements Outstanding compensation package About the Opportunity Deliver Finance Project and process improvement initiatives, support enterprise projects Communicate and collaborate with departmental leaders to stay abreast of financial aspects of change, cost benefits and evaluation Assess feasibility of finance change objectives, delivery timeline, and benefits applicable to accounting, expense management, finance systems efficiency and data integrity Uphold Finance visions in terms of value creation, customer service focus and process simplification Mentoring a group of finance managers, including setting up the short-long term goals, 1:1 coaching Uphold the company visions in terms of value creation, customer service focus and process simplification Effectively owning the finance change stream to achieve company goals while developing and retaining top talents About You Designated accounting professionals with CA, CGA, CMA qualified or equivalent 10 plus years in a progressive leadership role, specifically within Finance and strong exposure to financial systems implementation Strong accountability & ownership, professional ethics, and integrity Strong sense of customer focus, quality results oriented, managing stakeholder’s expectation and timely communication Broad business knowledge in Finance accounting/reporting/planning, IT/Systems, Underwriting, Claims Operations, Reserving, IFRS17 Promote partnership, flexibility and adaptability, and collaborative efforts with other groups Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills and staff management Preferably experience in General Insurance or Life Insurance Has initiated, led and successfully completed major change programs Salary $160,000 to $170,000/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
