The term teaching assignment will commence as soon as can be arranged to December 20, 2024 or one day prior to the return of the teacher being replaced, whichever occurs first.
This teaching position requires an individual who embraces collaboration and “team-teaching” and who will model effective and visionary educational practices that nurture student needs to: explore and create; connect purposefully with nature and their environment; involve themselves directly in citizenship-based service learning opportunities in the community; and be engaged in rich curriculum-focused study of the world around them.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Permanent Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Basic French is required
Proficiency in facilitating programming that ensures student’s deeper learning through:
Knowledge and application of Manitoba Education curriculum
Design of instructional and assessment practices that engage student learning
Application of Indigenous teachings and perspectives
Programming for students who are English as an Additional Language learners
Knowledge, understanding and application of inclusive pedagogy
Expertise in the implementation of inquiry/project-based learning, instructional partnerships, differentiated instruction, and literacy with ICT and digital citizenship
Promotion of innovation and creativity
Active collaboration between students and adults, and with colleagues, locally and globally
Inclusion of student voice and student choice
Leveraging technology as a learning tool
