Senior Business Analyst, Global Investment Banking

Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Capital Markets Banking Technology team is looking to hire an experienced business analyst to continue to drive the upcoming deliverables as outlined by our current book of work. In this role, you will be responsible for providing business analysis for the Global Investment Banking (GIB) projects and move business forward. You will work with teams in multiple regions and different lines of business to gather information, document, and manage projects to completion. You will become a subject matter expert in various specialties to facilitate GIB digital transformation, automation/deal workflows, as well as managing vendor relationships where applicable.What will you do?Gather and define requirements, document and plan projects to facilitate workflows.Document and identify processes and procedures for various applications and systems to enhance current workflows.Assist with onboarding for new businesses/applications.Work with development/application teams to complete projects and maintain existing applications.Test and work with QA teams to ensure quality of new developments and fixes.Provide regular updates and status to all stakeholders on open projects and issues.Provide SME knowledge on various subjects where applicable.What do you need to succeed?Must have:Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience including requirements planning, prioritization, and estimations in the banking industry.Combination of traditional business analysis skills with lean/agile analysis skills, and the ability to identify the need for and use techniques from either skillset (system context diagrams, use cases, storyboards).Experience using Jira and Confluence.Knowledge of data mapping, data integration, and other data management tasks (revenue reporting).Ability to take initiative, be result-oriented, and work independently with multiple priorities.Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities.Nice-to-have:Knowledge of Capital Markets with a focus on Investment Banking.Working knowledge of Windows, Unix, and databases.Experience with vendor products such as Sage, Argus, or Salesforce preferred.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
