Be part of the future – welcome to our growing team!Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities The successful candidate will be dedicated to a top-tier client’s oil sands operation and work on a field rotation schedule of 15 days on site (including mobilization and demobilization) followed by 15 days off. Accommodation while on rotation is at a camp near the client’s site Travel to and from Fort McMurray, Calgary, or Edmonton is via the client’s charter flights and bus service. A commitment to a minimum period of 24 months on the rotation schedule is required. Perform tasks as requested efficiently and accurately, using standard methods and techniques; Aquatic, groundwater, and/or surface water monitoring; Safely conducting field work, field data collection, and documentation; Tracking and reporting on field activity; and Preparing supporting documentation for reports, data checking & assessments. Qualifications 3-5+ years of practical experience in environmental monitoring; Class 5 driver’s licence. Experience in either the oil and gas industry or mining is considered an asset; and Familiarity with Argo operation would be beneficial.
