Senior Specialist - Tax

We are currently seeking a  Senior Tax Specialist  to join our tax practice in Toronto! This versatile role will involve working directly with several our staff and clients. We are looking for an individual who is committed to a career in taxation and has the desire to take a lead role in managing tax engagements and contributing both to the growth of the firm and our clients. 

Our primary responsibilities will include:

• Prepare Canadian corporate tax returns.
• Verify tax assessments.
• Correspond with clients, other advisors and tax authorities.
• Coordinate and manage client accounts.
• Assist managers and partners with tax initiatives, including but not limited to developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients.
• Understand, analyze and research tax queries for clients, Partners, Senior Managers, and Managers
• Collaborate with and support team members in providing exceptional client service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Designated CPA
• Enrollment or completion of CPA Canada In-Depth.
• 1 year of experience in Canadian Corporate Tax.
• Willing to work on Canadian tax compliance, tax provisions and tax advisory projects.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Works effectively in a team and individually.
