We have a challenging opportunity for a university student available for a 12-month co-op term (Jan - Dec 2025). The successful candidate will report to a senior engineering mentor assigned to them and will apply sound engineering skills to a variety of assignments in the area of electronic design engineering.ResponsibilitiesPerform RF test evaluation of RFICs and multi-chip modulesCommunicate effectively using basic RF terminologySet up and perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize test data, and present data to the design teamRF design support of RFICs and multi-chip modulesSchematic capture, simulation, layout, verification, and EM analysisLab prototype debugging, tuning, and measurementJob RequirementsMust be currently enrolled in a BSEE, MSEE, or PhD degree program in Electrical EngineeringMust be able and available to work on-site from Jan 2025 to Dec 2025Must have a basic knowledge of analog and RF electronic circuits and principlesMust have a suitable background in RF design or conceptsMust have knowledge or interest in RF test equipment and techniquesDesirable Knowledge/ExperienceFamiliarity with Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, or similar design toolsBasic understanding of high-frequency circuit designBasic familiarity with RF circuit blocks such as LNAs and PAsSelf-starter with a strong work ethicWillingness to work in a hands-on environmentStrong communication and time-management skillsWhy Join Us?By working with us at Skyworks Solutions, you will be joining the brightest and most ambitious talent in the semiconductor industry.
