About the Opportunity

Our reputable Ottawa-based client has an immediate requirement for a Cybersecurity (Vulnerability Assessment) Specialist to join their organization for a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity to join one of Canada's best employers as they continue to embark on multiyear strategic projects. The work will be done in a hybrid model and the selected candidate will have an active secret clearance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the coordination and prioritization of remedial activities working directly with IT operational support teams
• Analyzes complex asset and vulnerability data sets to provide meaningful, actionable metrics and data visualizations
• Document vulnerability analysis and/or assessment findings and rating new vulnerabilities into a central tracker (Service now VR Module)
• Support the implementation of patches and updates to address identified vulnerabilities

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• University degree or college diploma in computer science or, Information technology (Cyber Security)
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience with Vulnerability Management
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience with vulnerability management technology and tooling (Qualys, Tanium and ServiceNow)
• All candidates must have Secret Clearance
