Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced RAMS / Safety Specialist to join a leading International Engineering Group. This role is essential to a major project in Ontario, involving detailed analysis and assurance activities across rolling stock, signalling, power supply, and communications systems.As a Professional Engineer, you will address comments from the Independent Safety Assessor and play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Perform safety analysis and assurance across various engineering disciplines (rolling stock, signalling, power supply, communications).Respond to Independent Safety Assessor feedback.Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and processes, including EN50126 and ISO15288.Skills and Experience:Strong knowledge of signalling principles, with a preference for ETCS experience.Familiarity with brownfield projects is highly advantageous.Previous experience in safety-related roles within large-scale infrastructure projects.Knowledge of relevant engineering processes, including EN50126 and ISO15288.This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact on a major project with a globally respected engineering group.
