We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our client's growing clothing brand. This is a full-time opportunity, with a flexible hybrid model, working 2-3 days/week onsite in their Mississauga office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the retail industry, high-performing, and possess a deep understanding of social media platforms and strategies. This role is crucial for building and maintaining our client's online presence, engaging with their community, and driving customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage our client's audience.
  • Stay current with social media trends and tools, and ensure the brand remains on the cutting edge of digital marketing.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Develop a consistent brand voice and aesthetic for social media channels.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posts.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance brand loyalty and expand reach.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote new product launches, sales, giveaways, and events.
  • Use social media advertising tools to create and manage paid campaigns that drive conversions and maximize ROI.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content and strategy.
  • Use analytics tools to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on brand initiatives and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the apparel or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Strong visual and creative skills with experience in graphic design or photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with a diverse audience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for the retail industry and a deep understanding of the apparel space.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and trends.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
