Visit www.firesp.com to learn more and apply.Job Description:We are looking for a Service Manager with a strong fire alarm and security background for our Windsor Branch.Responsibilities:Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing, inspection, verification, and servicing of fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they function correctly and comply with safety standards.Site Inspection: Inspect installation sites and review work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and installation procedures.Customer Demonstrations: Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms, and providing training on system usage.System Maintenance: Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications to maintain optimal system performance.Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local and national security standards and regulations.Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.Customer Service: Maintain a customer-oriented mentality, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including inspections, repairs, and customer interactions.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.Minimum Requirements:CFAA License: Must hold a valid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) license.Experience: Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems is preferred.Technical Skills: Experience with Siemens and/or Mircom ESD systems is highly desirable.Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-oriented approach and deliver exceptional service.Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Physical Requirements:Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.Overnight travel may be requiredWhy FSP?Supportive Culture: We value our employees and provide ongoing training.Career Growth: Advance your career with guidance from industry experts as well as tuition reimbursement and pay incentives.Broad Opportunities: With offices in the eastern U.S. and Canada, we offer diverse locations and roles.Client-Centered: We serve commercial property owners and facility managers with dedication and care.Rapid Growth: Join us as we expand and invest in new markets.Benefits:Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is laser focused on creating a culture that thrives on developing our people and protecting our clients’ assets.
