Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration techniques Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and languages (e.g., ERwin, SQL) Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience in business analysis, system analysis and solution architecture of complex information systems. Experience in project solution estimates including project phasing, resource requirements, infrastructure requirements, long-term support requirements, and budget requirements. Experience in documenting use cases, functional and technical specifications, project plans, business cases, solution proposals and tendering documents. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong written communication skills with the ability to write technical documents including solution architecture documents and architectural maps. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate to different levels of the organization. Strong collaboration skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA, Azure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF). Desired: Experience with agile development methodologies and practices. Duties: Data Architects play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient and scalable data solutions for the organization. A Data Architect is responsible for creating and maintaining the overall architecture of the organization’s data systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Data Architecture will translate business requirements into robust data models, integrating cutting-edge technologies to optimize data management processes.
