Key Responsibilities:Conduct building envelope assessments, including roofs, façades, waterproofing, and insulation systems.Develop and review designs for building envelope systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.Perform modeling of envelope assemblies using different softwares.Perform forensic investigations to identify and address issues such as water intrusion, material failures, and thermal inefficiencies.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.Prepare detailed technical reports, project specifications, and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.Conduct site observations during construction and post-construction phases to ensure proper installation and performance.Role Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor of Architecture in Building Science/Building Enclosures/Historic Preservation, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering.P.Eng Licensure Required. An RRO, RRC, or RWC is advantageous.Minimum 11+ years of expertise in the design, evaluation, and assessment of building envelope systems.Experience in building envelope design, maintenance, and retrofit and the integrated design and delivery of high-performance buildings.Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Grasshopper)The ability to deliver top-notch customer service.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Benefits Include:Competitive Benefits: 401k contributions, 100% healthcare for employees, 2 weeks annual PTO etc.Salary range ($100,000- $150,000) dependent on engineering and business development expertise.Bonuses based on performance.Potential ownership and employee shares. #J-18808-Ljbffr
