Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.Job ID: 24-11761Pay Range: CAD 50/hr- CAD 55/hr ???????Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning SQL queries, monitoring system health, and implementing necessary adjustments.Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner, including diagnosing and resolving database errors and performance bottlenecks.Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schema and SQL queries.Manage database users, roles, and privileges to ensure appropriate access controls.Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and end-users.Stay current with Oracle database technologies and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). Proficiency in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages . Experience managing Oracle database performance and tuning SQL queries for optimal efficiency. Experience with database backup and recovery strategies, including Oracle Data Guard and RMAN. Familiarity with database security concepts and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Oracle DBA certification(s) preferred.
