We began experimenting with new, digital methods to identify, engage, convert, and prevent people using invalid software licenses into Autodesk subscribers. It worked. We proved we could generate revenue. Help us scale the program and ensure that all users access trusted Autodesk software. Position Overview The Director, Genuine will own the digital strategy and operational execution for piracy prevention and conversion and be responsible for achieving aggressive growth targets. You and your team of growth managers, data analysts, campaign operations, and product designers will have the unique opportunity to think and operate as a startup, with all the resources and support of a Fortune 1000 company behind you. We are looking for a sales-oriented growth leader who has a proven track record of driving topline growth. To us, that means digging into the data, start building hypotheses, and start testing – knowing how to balance hitting for singles vs swinging for home runs. Build on all the small wins and keep looking for the big wins by testing, testing, and testing some more. To be successful, you must be able to build and sustain a high velocity growth mindset and skillset in your team. And you must be able to collaborate with other teams within a large company to secure support and resources to execute your team’s plan. You will join the company as a Director and be a key member of the Business Models & Pricing leadership team. Responsibilities Achieve Autodesk Genuine Software goals around piracy prevention and digital conversion to genuine software usage. Utilize data and insights to create the 3-5 year business plan and annual program plans around digital software piracy detection, prevention, and conversion. Become Autodesk’s subject matter expert on piracy prevention and conversion. Build, execute, monitor, and optimize growth marketing campaigns for customer conversion. Pilot and scale new tactics, media channels, and marketing tools & technology to improve reach and conversion. Develop compelling, visual, story-based presentations for senior executives and present your point of view to internal stakeholders at every level of the organization. Manage and develop a team of growth, analyst, campaign ops, and design rockstars. Partner closely with License Compliance sales team and Identity & Licensing team to ensure execution of tactics. Partner with external vendors to monitor and deter piracy in the marketplace. Monitor market trends and competitor actions in the area of license compliance and identify business strategies to address emerging opportunities. Work with intellectual property trade groups working to strengthen the software industry. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or data science, MBA is a plus. 10+ years of business strategy experience in a startup or growth business. 5+ years of experience with E-commerce sales. 5+ years of people management experience. Exceptional storytelling & presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships and partner across teams.
