About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Group Controller with proficient knowledge in current technical accounting. ResponsibilitiesOversee month end closing and reporting cycle, reconciliations, and submissionsOffer support in leadership regarding technical accountingHelp implement and strategize accounting proceduresFollow IFRS standards and help train others when requiredOrganize statutory filings across all divisionsApprove accurate tax records are maintained and filed for VAT, GST, Income Taxes, etc.Manage internal and external auditor relationshipsSupport in budgeting and forecasting processesOrganize financial record keeping.Assist with M&A activity as neededWork closely with other business units and groups on the integration of new acquisitionsQualificationsDesignated (CPA (CA), ACCA, CIMA)Proficient knowledge in current technical accountingBackground working in multiple entities/countries / currenciesExcellent communication skills- both internally and externallyFlexibility to travelAbility to work both independently and be a team playerKnowledge of working accounting/ERP software and Microsoft OfficeAdvanced experience using NetSuite (ideal)
