Senior Accounting Manager

Would you like to join an established Canadian company, a market leader in their sector, offering a progressive environment with succession planning?Are you looking to co-ordinate accounting deliverables for a major division within a public company and work closely with the BU leaders?Key responsibilities and oversight:Oversee the execution of BU month end close and related deliverablesOperate as the Controller’s “right hand”, partnering with them on major initiativesDrive automation of processes, improve utilisation of systems act as a key finance stakeholder in ERP implementationDevelop productive relationships across other BU finance teams to ensure effective communicationEnsure transactions are compliant with IFRS accounting standardsMonitor compliance with internal controls, recommending improvements when appropriateThe company is offering an excellent compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary, annual bonus program, long term incentives and RSP matching.
