Mechanical Designer

Our team, experts in these fields, speak your language and work in your world.We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a company specialized in special parts design and sheet metal transformation located in Repentigny, France. The position is available immediately. Position 40 hours/week - Hybrid.Your duties :Reporting to the Head of Engineering (R&D department), you will be responsible for the following tasks :- Design and develop sketches of metal parts based on customer requirements- Develop 3D prototype models for internal and customer presentation- Collaborate with procurement teams, suppliers, participate in the choice of materials- Keep abreast of market trends, gather information to make the best choices in the development of new parts, reduce costs and simplify processes.- Other related tasksYour professional skills :- Knowledge of CAD software - SolidWorks, Inventor- Knowledge of illustration software (Illustrator, Photoshop) - Optional- Attention to detail, application- CreativityYour profile :- At least 4 to 5 years' experience in mechanical design- Ideally, experience in designing parts based on metal bending, drilling, etc.- DEC or similar diploma in mechanical engineering or industrial drafting, design- Salary: $80k - $100k depending on experience- Hybrid position, full insurance, bonus, paid vacation negotiable according to experience- Company in full development, opportunity for advancement possible
