Position: Real Estate Transaction SpecialistLocation: Downtown TorontoSalary: Up to $45 per hourSchedule: Hybrid - 2 days/week in office Job Type: 6-month contract We are seeking a Real Estate Transaction Specialist to manage the closing and payment processes for property acquisitions. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth transactions by coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate property data. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in real estate finance, contract management, and data analysis within a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the closing process for property acquisitions, including processing closing payments and compensating tenant relocations.- Reimburse property owners for legal and consulting services, ensuring accurate documentation and processing.- Review and process approval memos, ensuring acquisition requirements are met.- Track expenditures and provide reports on budget variances and financial analysis.- Present data in dashboards, charts, and tables for reporting and process improvement initiatives.- Maintain and update property data in the database, ensuring accuracy in reporting.- Communicate with Property Acquisition Officers, Finance, and external legal counsel to ensure smooth and timely processing of requests.- Develop and monitor property accruals and budgets for assigned projects.Skills and Qualifications:- Degree or equivalent experience in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel), and experience with database tools like PowerBI.- Experience in property accounting, real estate analysis, or legal support in a related environment.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.This role provides opportunities to develop skills in financial analysis, analytics, and contract management.
