Right now we are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team based in Newmarket.About the roleAre you a seasoned finance leader ready to drive significant impact in a dynamic organization? Tegel is seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as a critical support to the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing Tegel's financial strategy, ensuring robust internal controls, and championing process improvements that resonate across the entire business.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnering: Work closely with the CFO to execute financial strategies and maintain a strong internal control environment.Leadership: Oversee and guide the finance and accounting teams, ensuring excellence in all financial operations.Process Enhancement: Lead initiatives to improve Tegel's processes, leveraging new technologies to enhance reporting systems and controls.Risk Management: Implement effective risk management practices to protect Tegel's financial integrity.Comprehensive Reporting: Ensure accurate and compliant preparation and presentation of consolidated results, forecasts, and budgets.What We're Looking For:Expertise: Over 10 years of experience in financial accounting, systems, and reporting within complex environments or professional services.Qualifications: CA (or equivalent) with deep experience in tax and consolidation environments.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of 'standard costing' systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Power BI.Leadership: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, implement change, and drive value-adding initiatives.Attention to Detail: High accuracy and a meticulous approach to financial management.Resilience: Ability to perform consistently under pressure, with excellent communication and presentation skills.At Tegel, you will be part of a company that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
