We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team and elevate the guest experience.Job Summary: The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sports bar and restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, profitability, and a positive working environment for all staff members. The GM will be the key driver of operational excellence, staff development, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on maximizing sales and maintaining high standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and supervisors to achieve top performance in customer service and operations.Guest Experience: Ensure a fun, friendly, and memorable experience for all patrons by upholding the highest service standards and maintaining a welcoming environment.Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including inventory management, purchasing, scheduling, and staff assignments, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profit margins. Analyze financial reports and make adjustments to achieve revenue and expense goals.Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop staff, creating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.Marketing & Events: Work with the marketing team to promote special events, sports screenings, and new menu items. Drive customer engagement through social media and other promotional channels.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any customer service issues, staff concerns, or operational challenges quickly and efficiently.Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, quality products, and competitive pricing.Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to local, state, and federal laws regarding food safety, labor laws, and alcohol service.Qualifications:Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or bar.Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, and staff scheduling.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.Familiarity with sports bar environments and a passion for sports is a plus.Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.Benefits:Competitive WagesFUN Team and CulturePotential Medical/Dental Group Health BenefitsTraining, Development and Education Reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr
