The Project Director is also responsible for ensuring the integration of workflows and deliverables across the project directors.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceA level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Masters' Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Health Leadership & Policy, formal Project Management training or a related field supplemented by a minimum of 10 years of experience in public sector planning within a healthcare environment.Skills And AbilitiesA thorough knowledge of community engagement and health service planning methodologies.A thorough knowledge of health sector data, and demonstrated ability to find, analyze, and communicate quantitative results within the health system.Experience creating and using data forecasting and projection methodologies.Experience with the public sector capital planning process within British Columbia.Demonstrated ability to create high-quality planning documents for the use of decision-makers within public sector organizations.Demonstrated oral, written and presentation skills.Demonstrated project management, process re-engineering and organizational skills.Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to bring about change in a proactive manner.Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and carry out projects.Demonstrated ability to provide progressive and innovative approaches to service delivery and program issues.Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in the use of a personal computer (PC) and applicable software applications.Demonstrated ability to creatively plan and promote new service delivery models.Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to partners internal and external to the organization.Proven ability to facilitate and negotiate when working with an interdisciplinary team.Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to respond to the needs of partners supported by an acute awareness of the impact of action.
