What You'll Do: Write clear, clean, and efficient game code. Collaborate with other disciplines (production, art, design, etc.) to define and develop in-game features for current and upcoming titles. Contribute to the development of new in-game features and bug fixes that impact millions of players. What Makes This Role Exciting: Develop large-scale games with millions of daily and monthly active users. Contribute to creative discussions about game features and designs. Work with world-class development processes and tools. Join a rapidly growing platform at a company backed by prominent investors (a16z, Makers Fund, Dune Ventures). What You Bring to the Team: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field/equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in gaming or a related industry. Strong grasp of programming concepts; experience in Lua is preferred but not required. Effective communication and collaboration skills for the product/development cycle. Ownership mentality and a passion for creating impactful gaming experiences. Bonus Points for: Prior development experience on the Roblox platform or similar gaming platforms. Experience in game jams, game modding, and passion projects related to game making. Voldex is an equal opportunity employer.
