In 2022, Lethbridge was recognized as one of Canada’s top small cities.The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, continuing position as Director, Campus Development.The Director, Campus Development role involves overseeing various aspects related to campus planning & development, construction projects, space management, and strategic planning. These duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities that involve strategic stakeholder engagement, project management, team supervision, and ensuring the efficient and effective development of the university campus. The Director, Campus Development plays a key role in shaping the institution’s physical environment, occupant safety, and reputation.The Director Campus Development often serves as the first point of contact for development and implementation of strategic plans for space allocations, capital developments, and the overall campus site(s) as they pertain to their role in serving the institutional mission.Position Qualifications:10+ years in leadership of major projects, planning processes, and project executionPMP, Engineering Technologist, LEED AP, American Physical Plant Association (APPA) CertificationNegotiation, influencing, organizing, and communication skills.Preferred:Masters in Planning, Masters in Urban DesignMaster of Business Administration20 years of progressive experience in leadership of major projects, planning processes, and project executionMinimum requirements plus Registered Architect, Planner or EngineerStarting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE): $97,373.43 - $122,495.52 annuallyFull Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE): $97,373.43 - $147,617.60 annually (APO - Grade 6)Campus: LethbridgeEmployment Group: APOPosition Category: OtherOpen Date: 10/10/2024Close Date: 11/06/2024Desired Start Date: 11/01/2024Special Instructions to Applicants:The University of Lethbridge invites applications from all qualified candidates; however, in accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given preference.The University of Lethbridge is committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, including through all aspects of the hiring process.
