Position Overview We are currently seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to join our team as the Director of Public Relations. This pivotal role involves shaping and implementing our public relations strategy, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and elevating the visibility of Canadian Adventure Charters and our partnering companies Continental Climate Construction and RedHawk.
Key Responsibilities Devise and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the brand and offerings of Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. and partners.
Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry partners to secure positive coverage and partnerships.
Lead the planning and execution of press events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Effectively manage crisis communications and ensure a positive public image for the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align public relations efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Oversee all CAC-CCC-RedHawk Government Affairs and Public Policy. Represent CAC externally at all levels with government, regulators, and third-parties. Manage the team of policy professionals, determine and execute key policy campaigns in-country, and coordinate with cross-functional peers locally and globally within CAC-CCC-RedHawk’s global Government Affairs and Public Policy organization.
Qualifications Extensive experience and knowledge within the following:
Successful portfolio building and managing 100 Fortune public trading corporations, including private and non-profit, for a minimum of 15 years.
Working with Public Relations (PR), Investor Relations (IR), and stakeholders, networking, and building partner relations with 100 & 500 Fortune Companies, managing $1B-$10B annual portfolios.
Proven experience in a senior public relations role within Mega-Port-Seaside Resort Green/Blue Development, Super Luxury Yachting Travel and Tourism, Climate Change-Global Warming & Marine Research, Treasure, Artifacts, and High-Value Cargo Shipwreck Recovery, IT-Artificial Intelligence-Digital Marketing, Community Economic and Social Development, Emergency Management Preparedness, New Housing-New Jobs-New Transportation, Healthcare, CETA Trade Agreement between Canada and Europe, Employment & Immigration, Environmental Programs and Support.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Demonstrated success in executing successful public relations campaigns.
Crisis management expertise and the ability to navigate challenging situations diplomatically.
A creative and strategic mindset with a focus on innovation.
Other Requirements Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Law, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in public relations in Canada and Europe.
Proficiency in media relations and crisis communication.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
