Job Title: Vice President - Utility Services Location: Toronto, ON CA (Primary) Job Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities The Vice President will be the utility services capital projects practice strategy and delivery lead, portfolio manager, and client relationship manager for gas and electric clients across Canada. Responsibilities include: Leading Comtech’s Utility Services national practice including key account leadership. Serving as senior-most client relationship manager, engaging with client executives, project sponsors, and delivery partners. Providing strategic direction for the Utilities team in areas such as business development, client and stakeholder relations, strategy and advisory services, project and program management, and construction management. Analyzing industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats. Building and maintaining in-depth industry knowledge and relationships. Negotiating contracts, agreements, and partnerships to ensure favourable terms and conditions for the Company. Participating in the development of marketing strategies for the expansion of Comtech’s client base. Overseeing service delivery for a portfolio of projects across the country. Managing P&L responsibility for the practice, including forecasts and monitoring sales, revenues, and budgets. Hiring, coaching, and leading team members, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities. Working Conditions Office-based Qualifications Required 10+ years of senior-level leadership experience with an electric or gas utility. 10+ years of progressive project leadership experience within the gas or electric utility sector is preferred. Experience in establishing and managing relationships with senior utilities stakeholders. Strong sales and client relationship development experience. Extensive knowledge of Gas Transmission and Distribution and Electric Substation, Transmission, and Distribution Project Management and Construction Management concepts. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA is a strong asset. Licenses OR Certifications: Holding a P.Eng. qualification and PMP certification are assets.
