Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe Opportunity:As an IT Business Analyst Intern, you will chip in to a variety of projects and initiatives within Informatics, a global IT organization within Roche that enables business strategy across 2 major divisions: Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics. As a member of the Product Analysis and Consultancy (PAC) Chapter, you will be partnered with Senior Business Analysts, Technical Consultants, and User Experience (UX) guides completing IT projects throughout the entire digital Product Life Cycle. You will also work closely with IT Product Managers, IT Development Teams, and Business Stakeholders to build and improve IT solutions that make valuable contributions to the organization.In this internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of dynamic areas that will improve your development and build your business acumen. These areas include Data Science & Machine Learning, Commercial Data & Insights, Medical Analytics & Productivity Tools, Disease Area Strategy, Advanced Therapies & Medical Products, Medical Affairs & Clinical Trials, Marketing Planning & Automation, Patient Engagement & Retention, and Technical Operations & IT Infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and align internal and external customer expectations, and connect with the project team and stakeholders to gain their support.Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to elicit requirements for new applications or modifications to existing platforms.Partner with extended Product teams to examine, test, and review improvements, crafting supporting documentation like test scripts, process flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.Support user acceptance testing (UAT), user training on new technology solutions, and conduct usability analysis to identify design improvements and new features.Assist in evaluating new technology solutions, build and maintain training and system documentation, and participate in various IT, corporate, and CSR activities.Who you are:Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree or equivalent programs in Biotechnology, Information Technology, Business and Science, Healthcare, Data Analytics, Computer Science and related fields.Demonstrates a desire to learn more in Healthcare Information Technology, Business & Data Analytics, or pursue a career in IT and/or the Biotech industry, with familiarity in the Google suite of components.Possesses critical thinking skills to implement IT business solutions, along with excellent listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.Experience in requirements elicitation is an asset and enjoys collaborating with large multi-functional teams in an Agile environment.Has the drive to work autonomously, navigate roadblocks, be resourceful, and shows a passion for being a team-oriented player.Additional InformationThis position is an 8-month work term (full-time) and is expected to begin in January 2025.Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 2 days in the office).Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
