Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Centre Director to lead our team at Code Ninjas Burnaby South. As a Centre Director, you will manage daily operations, lead and develop staff, and ensure our centre remains a fun and safe learning environment for our students. You will play a crucial role in engaging with children and parents, managing marketing initiatives, and upholding the Code Ninjas brand. Responsibilities: Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre. Brand Ambassador: Represent and uphold the Code Ninjas brand in all interactions. Staff Development: Train and develop staff to effectively deliver camp curriculum. Lead Management: Follow up on leads, schedule centre tours, and assist families with registration. Marketing Initiatives: Organize and manage event-based marketing campaigns. Engagement: Actively engage with children and families within the centre. Parent Communication: Ensure parents understand how their child is learning and progressing. Supervision: Supervise a team of instructors (Code Senseis) and foster their development. Environment: Maintain a fun and safe learning environment for students. Standards: Uphold corporate standards regarding centre cleanliness and operational excellence. Adaptability: Think on your feet and be perceptive to the centre’s dynamics. Reporting: Report regularly to the owners and other centre directors on centre activities and progress. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma Experience with Children: Work history with children ages 5 and up; enthusiasm for working with kids. Coding Knowledge: Coding knowledge or experience is an asset. Business Acumen: Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership. Tech Savvy: Familiarity with technology, social media, and office equipment. Marketing Experience: Experience running social media and event-based marketing campaigns. Flexibility: Flexible schedule to accommodate centre needs. Fun and Dynamic: Must be enjoyable to work with and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to meet deadlines and ensure nothing is overlooked.
