About the Role The Head of Product plays a pivotal role in steering the product team's vision and strategy, aligning it with the company’s broader objectives. This role involves leading the product management function, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development: Build and manage a diverse team of Product Managers and leaders from across the world. Foster a community of practice within the team to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship. Develop and refine core organizational processes such as onboarding, hiring, mentorship, and career development. Oversee talent management, optimizing resource allocation to maximize productivity and profitability. Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations within the product team, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Collaborate with other heads of departments to implement operational and structural changes. Monitor and analyze business operations to innovate and enhance current practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain budget discipline. Strategic Initiatives: Lead the strategy for technological and process innovation within the product team. Research and identify new business opportunities to drive company growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to expand the company's customer base. Present strategic reports and insights at executive meetings. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Create synergy across various disciplines within the company to ensure seamless collaboration. Engage with leaders across departments to establish clear expectations and unified approaches. Performance and Growth Monitoring: Manage and evaluate the performance of the product team, fostering high engagement and satisfaction levels. Cultivate a robust pipeline of product leaders who contribute to the company’s growth and innovation. Ensure that products are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Qualifications 15+ years experience in product management, preferably in a software consultancy environment. 3+ years of people management experience. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
