Relocation to Montreal and/or immigration support available for the right candidate. DESCRIPTION We are seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at our Montreal, Quebec office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features using React.js , TypeScript, and GraphQL to deliver an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and clinicians to enhance our modern web-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write code and review code enhancing our EHR user interface Collaborate with cross-functional teams: work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional, high-quality code Stay current with technology trends: keep up-to-date with the latest developments in frontend technologies and JavaScript ecosystem Write secure, HIPAA-compliant software Work closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and quality engineers to create a delightful user experience Contribute to the engineering culture and hiring WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer Experience with our frontend stack (React/TypeScript/NextJS/GraphQL) Rigorous unit testing and use of best practices Strong design sensibility and the ability to make informed product decisions Experience with Agile development methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline Experience with startups and VC-funded companies Experience in health tech or a related industry Experience shipping and maintaining a large software system Experience with Ruby Good knowledge of computer security Excellent written and oral communication skills COMPENSATION In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on output levels and options to trade cash for stock. This is a full-time, salaried position based in Montreal, with an annual salary of $120,000- $163,000 CAD plus generous stock options, vacation, and full medical/dental benefits.
