The Digital Product Strategy & Transformation team builds smart, customer-centric and data-driven experiences for telus.com, TELUS.com/business and the My TELUS web and app spanning acquisition as well as cost reduction opportunities.Within the Connectivity, Digital & MarComm organization, the team Digital Product Strategy is responsible for owning, developing and defending TELUS’ 3 digital products- telus.com, MyTELUS and MyTELUS app. Our team is a critical contributor to achieving higher product intensity, increased revenue opportunities, improved operational expenses, market differentiation and enabling mobile or app centered customer experiences. Cross functional collaboration is central to the work we do, as our team is responsible for prioritizing and triaging work from Marketing or Products & Services to our Technology development teams. The team includes a passionate group of strategists, product owners, UX and visual designers, content strategists and managers, testers, researchers and other digital experts.Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish togetherAs Senior Product Manager for the Digital Product Strategy & Transformation team, you will help define best in class experiences for our customers and shape our digital sales and self-serve experience that helps simplify the lives of our customers.You will work closely with leadership on planning and business strategy and look at ways to maximize unit growth and report and share insights on digital performance. You will also drive best-in-class end-to-end digital customer experience and lead large scale, high-visibility projects, collaborating with Marketing, Product, Design, Technology, Design and other stakeholders across the business.We are on a mission to fully optimize our digital sales and self-serve experiences, so you are joining us at an exciting time with phenomenal opportunities to craft our product and customer journeys.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy, development, and execution to drive business growth and customer satisfaction:Be responsible for the vision of digital experiences in partnership with stakeholders to achieve the business outcomes of increased Digital sales or self-serve activities.Understand customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to influence website experiences and features that provide TELUS customers with unparalleled digital experiences.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new experiences or capabilities required to maximize digital conversion and define requirements.Prioritize the most impactful changes to achieve our Digital performance metrics, effectively facilitating cross functional decision making with our Marketing, Product and Technology teams.Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and inform decision-making.Lead the digital product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning, development, testing, and post-launch evaluation. Responsible for maintaining the digital product roadmap and actively managing the product backlog and prioritize based on feedback and value.Create business cases for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new experiences and features.Establish relationships and liaise with a diverse group of cross-functional partners within the organization; collaborate on interdependent roadmaps and technology investments to achieve mutual business outcomes.Communicate product plans, progress and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Accountable for project scope delivered on time and within budget. Remove business and roadmap impediments or help facilitate trade-offs once in project delivery.QualificationsYou're the missing piece of the puzzleExperience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery, with 4-7 years of product management/ownership of customer facing products/applications.Strategic thinker who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is able to translate the vision into tangible requirements for development.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Highly-organized with a demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume of work.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.An independent thinker and self-starter; able to work effectively within a fast paced and changing environment while taking initiative and being proactive. Ability to inter-operate between a technical product team and business strategists.Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle, showing ability to launch on time and budget with desired scope.Great-to-havesStrong track record of being able to develop relationships with a multitude of stakeholders/peers.2-4 years of marketing, project management, and/or digital experience.Comfortable working in a dynamic, and ambiguous environment with the ability to prioritize work and create clarity.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.Salary Range: $94,000-$142,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
