The ideal candidate will possess strong people management skills, extensive experience in achieving excellent security outcomes, and a proven ability to manage risk profiles and elevate security postures. In this role, you will be expected to: Drive the development and execution of our global security strategy for both our platform and corporate environments, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats and alignment with industry best practices. Oversee the day-to-day operations, prioritize and advocate for the security practices that support Coveo’s business goals, encourage innovation, and emphasize efficiency and scalability. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team that cares about the business and maintains excellent collaboration with all departments. Serve as Coveo’s key advisor to the executive team and board on cybersecurity matters, including risk management, incident management, compliance & governance. Collaborate with and influence multiple business functions, including nurturing close relationships with R&D & IT to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and industry standards. Here is what will qualify you for the role: Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, in a technology or software company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a proven track record building and executing on a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire accountability and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Extensive knowledge of various information security management frameworks and the critical thinking necessary to decide how to apply them to serve different business cases. What will make you stand out: Creativity and resourcefulness, ability to think outside the box to mitigate complex security risks. Ability to clearly communicate complex subjects regarding strategic and tactical cybersecurity programs to partners of varying technical levels.
