Project Director

As a result of continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Project Director who will oversee and provide leadership on the design, implementation, and completion of large-scale projects within the civil construction and remediation industry. This position is a full-time and permanent role, based in the Greater Vancouver area. What You’ll Do: As the Project Director, you will be responsible for providing direction for the completion of environmental remediation projects. Responsibilities include: Preparation of bids and proposals in response to customer solicitations Strategic negotiation and preparation of all contractual agreements Management of onsite performance Oversee and report on project performance to senior management Process and document contract changes and specifications Manage and control all project expenditures, procurement requisitions (i.e., purchase orders, expense claims) Provide team leadership to meet and exceed quality performance standards on all project milestones Collaborate with HSE Regional Manager and Construction Manager to establish and maintain strict H&S culture and environmental programs What You Bring: Demonstrated construction project management experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil construction and remediation industries or related experience Direct experience working with construction teams including Construction Managers and Site Superintendents Exceptional time management and organization skills Team management experience Who You Are: Resourceful self-starter and collaborative leader You have entrepreneurial drive Computer proficient/familiarity with industry management software Problem-solver, decision-maker with strong interpersonal skills Critical thinker who enjoys problem solving Excellent written and verbal communicator What We Offer: A competitive total rewards program Comprehensive health and dental benefit program Supportive and collaborative working environment Ongoing coaching and leadership support Professional development and training opportunities RSP matching program Car and travel allowance About Peeple Inc: Peeple Inc. is a Vancouver-based people development organization specializing in management search, executive coaching, and development.
