Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.We are looking for a Logistics Director for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and implement the company's logistics strategy.- Manage storage, transportation, and distribution operations.- Supervise a logistics team of 20 employees, fostering their professional development and engagement.- Lead continuous improvement projects, including the deployment of new racking systems and optimization of workflows.- Oversee transportation operations, including negotiating rates with service providers and evaluating logistics performance.- Ensure compliance and management of customs documentation for international shipments.- Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize logistics costs and enhance service quality.- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to improve processes and ensure an efficient supply chain.Candidate Profile:- Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or distribution.- Strong management and leadership skills.- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.- Proficiency in logistics management tools and software.- Team-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
