Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Technical Lead, Digital Commerce and Solutions on a permanent basis in our Innovation team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Canada. Are you a seasoned tech leader passionate about turning high-level designs into real-world solutions? As the Technical Lead, Digital Commerce and Solutions, you'll take charge of complex projects, guiding teams through development and integration to ensure seamless execution. Join us to drive innovation, collaborate across IT and business teams, and shape the future of digital commerce! What you’ll do: Lead end-to-end implementation of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with high-level architecture and functional designs. Provide detailed technical documentation, feasibility assessments, and ensure sustainable solutions from both technical and business process perspectives. Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to define/refine technical requirements, validate estimates, and troubleshoot complex project issues. Ensure adherence to development standards and operational sustainability. Continuously improve and establish development standards, adopt new technologies, and provide subject matter expertise to drive innovation in application development. Set performance objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development for direct reports. Guide the team to deliver high-quality results while resolving any challenges or concerns that arise. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with Innovation and Business Units that request IT Solutions and will have 1 direct report. This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation, autonomy, and collaboration. Why it matters: We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management, and business development. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Information Technology and: Have 8-10 years of software development and implementation experience including 3+ years working with Java or .NET, Spring Framework, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Relational and noSQL databases, Git, RPA concepts and toolsets (Power Automate or UI Path), API Gateways (like IBM’s Cloud Pack For Integration), WebSphere Application Server, IIS, or related server software. Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related area. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered) Experience in eCommerce implementation is an asset. TOGAF certification is an asset. Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud is an asset. Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is an asset.
