About the Role
You will be an integral part of our dynamic Risk and Sustainability Consulting practice, delivering value-adding professional services and supporting business development initiatives. Our Risk and Sustainability Consulting practice offers a variety of services aimed at helping clients enhance their risk management capabilities and meet expectations around climate risk and sustainability reporting. This position puts you at the forefront of meeting clients’ growing need for guidance on managing impacts of climate change and implementing sustainability reporting regulations and industry standards. You will also play an active role in growing our risk and sustainability practice; from drafting thought leadership content, developing service offerings and contributing to proposals and presentations to local and international clients.
Your Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will deliver projects that assess current processes, develop solutions that drive improvements and implement actions that enhance performance and enable compliance. You will also be involved in supporting business development and creating high quality client deliverables that effectively communicate findings and conclusions. As you will be collaborating with colleagues from different countries across the Forvis Mazars global network, we will look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities that can benefit our clients. You should keep informed of global regulatory and industry developments in the risk and sustainability space and be able to clearly articulate potential impacts of these developments for local clients.
Your Skills and Experience
You’re probably a match if you have:
University Degree in business, finance, risk or sustainability related field.
Professional certification in risk or sustainability is considered an asset (e.g., FSA Credential from IFRS Foundation, FRM or SCR from GARP, ESG Investing from CFA Institute etc.)
5+ years experience in financial services or management consulting. Experience should cover at least one of the following areas of expertise – enterprise risks, prudential risks, regulatory reporting, internal controls, climate risks management and sustainability reporting.
Working understanding of climate risk management and sustainability reporting requirements such as IFRS S1 and S2 standards, GRI and CSR.
Knowledge of climate-related risks and transmission channels through which they can manifest and have a potential material impact on an organisation.
Strong analytical skills to sufficiently process various information and translate business needs into application and clear actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex concepts and synthesize information in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
Problem-solving ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and think on your feet.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a “can-do” attitude and drive to support business development initiatives.

Proven project management experience from inception to completion.
Being bilingual (English and French) is preferred but not essential.
