This will be a three-year, renewable appointment and does not confer eligibility for tenure.The successful candidate will be appointed to clinical practice at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH), a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University.The Division of Neurology has active clinical and basic research programs in cerebrovascular disease as well as clinical and clinical research programs in movement disorders, behavioural neurology, demyelinating diseases, autonomic nervous system disorders, neuromuscular diseases and basic science research activities in the mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration.Job DutiesThe successful candidate will contribute to a strong interdisciplinary clinical and/or research program in Cerebrovascular Disease at McGill University and will be expected to be actively involved in all aspects of McGill’s academic mission (i.e., research, teaching, supervision of students and residents, and involvement in academic and administrative committees). The incumbent will be expected to pursue scholarly activities and advance clinical care in Cerebrovascular Disease.All McGill faculty members are also expected to contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community.
