OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Head to lead our team and drive operational excellence within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in project management, business development, and process improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker to inspire their team to achieve departmental goals while aligning with the overall vision of the company.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business development and growth opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve high performance and foster a positive work environment.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion of departmental initiatives.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize workflows.
Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and ensure cohesive operations across the organization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role within a relevant industry.
Strong skills in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability in business development strategies that drive growth.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
Experience in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
Must have some knowledge of Hockey and Alpine sports.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Proven ability in negotiation and process improvement.
Experience in business development and project management.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in project management, negotiation, leadership, and business development.
Ability to effectively collaborate and lead teams.
Must be comfortable in a shop setting and willing to learn hands-on skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.25-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
