Alma Veterinary Hospital, Windsor, Windsor, South East Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience, plus up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus and up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance Lead a fantastic team and help shape our hospitals ongoing success Alma Veterinary Hospital has a rare opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our team at our well-equipped hospital in Windsor. Your main focus will be providing and encouraging gold standard clinical work while heading up the vet team, making important decisions regarding clinical protocols and governance. Alongside the practice manager, you will strive to further develop the business and practice, whilst continuing to encourage our wonderful team to provide the best standard of veterinary and client care possible. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve acting as Clinical Lead. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the vet team with clinical cases and decisions to ensure we provide gold standard veterinary care to our patients. You will work closely with the Head Nurse to ensure the days run smoothly and put best practice protocols in place for our patients and team. The role will include a mixture of surgery and consultation days covering all aspects of first opinion practice. Rota patterns that work for you The full-time role will involve working 4 days per week and 1:3 Saturday mornings. We would be happy to consider and discuss part-time options for any candidates that are unable to work full time. You will be required to be on call approximately once weekly for our inpatients that are hospitalised at the practice. About Us Alma Veterinary Hospital is located in the royal town of Windsor, with many tourist attractions nearby. Windsor is an affluent town surrounded by beautiful countryside along the Thames path and Windsor Great Park, with excellent transport links into London. Our well-equipped hospital Alma Veterinary Hospital is a fully equipped first opinion practice seeing a wide range of surgical and medical cases. We have 4 consultation rooms, separate cat and dog waiting rooms and wards, a dedicated dental suite, an imaging room, and a full in-house laboratory. We are proud to be the only practice within a 15-mile radius able to offer laparoscopic surgery to our patients. About the Team and Culture We have a wonderful team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons at Alma, with 2 x certificate holders. Our nursing team consists of 10 nurses, and we have 5 support staff including our Practice Manager. Our colleague's welfare is of utmost importance to us, and we are hopeful to find a candidate that fits within our team values and ethos. We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon who is competent in all aspects of first opinion veterinary medicine and surgery to complement our existing team. The successful candidate must strive to provide gold standard veterinary care while working closely with our vet team to discuss clinical cases with excellence and continuity.
