Roles and Responsibilities Manage engineering team to build features and improvements for the platform. Increase the scalability of the platform. Collaborate with the product team to guide the roadmap towards solving the most important problems. Engineers on the Team Work with React (TypeScript), Python (Django), Postgres, and AWS. Support teammates when faced with new challenges. Autonomously figure out solutions to challenges. Put themselves in the shoes of users to craft a great experience. Value clear communication. Be curious and willing to learn something new. Feel a great sense of accountability to users. Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design. Skills & Experience Experience leading and managing an early-stage engineering team. 6+ years of experience as a software engineer or engineering manager. Fundamental understanding of the core technologies in our stack. Proficiency in communicating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
