With 300-400 project intakes annually with this group, your role will be pivotal in shaping the technological landscape of capital markets.Key Responsibilities:Project Diversity:Engage with various teams in Capital Markets to comprehend their goals and objectives (typically involving their Shared Data Repository, Enterprise data warehouse, or Information Data Platform).Handle a mix of 75% small to medium-range projects, contributing to a stimulating and fast-paced work environment.Technical Exploration:Utilize your expertise to locate and understand data by navigating through tables and collaborating with SQL Developers.Develop high-level queries that serve as the foundation for the development team, ensuring a seamless transition to the next phase.Managed aspects of Testing including UAT, test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, manage defects, etc. Collaborative Innovation:Work closely with the development team to facilitate testing and collaborate to ensure the effectiveness of implemented solutions for any bugs or defects.Be a driving force in refining and optimizing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Desired Qualifications:Must-Haves:5+ years of working with in Capital Markets (should have various product knowledge including, but not limited to: Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income, Equities, etc.)SQL - Must have basic SQL querying skills to extract data, join data sets together, subqueries, select queries, etc.Experience working in teams supporting Data Warehouse(s) or Data Lake(s) Strong understanding of end-to-end flow within capital markets, demonstrating a comprehensive grasp of operational intricacies.Nice to have:Previous exposure to wealth and retail operations, with a preference for candidates with an emphasis on P&L responsibilities.Technical Skills:Proficiency in SQL and the ability to write quality queries.Expertise in utilizing spreadsheets and macros for data analysis.Nice to have:Experience connecting to Oracle or Greenplum databases and navigating through data effectively.What Sets You Apart:A drive for innovation and problem-solving, combined with a keen eye for detail.Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and stakeholders.Perks and Benefits:Competitive compensation with the possibility of contract extension.Flexible work arrangements, including one day in the office.Access to ongoing training and development opportunities.Don't miss the chance to be part of our dynamic team, where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a significant impact on the future of capital market operations.
