Job Overview

The Marketing Supervisor will be a generalist and have a varied ability and skillset, assisting the manager with digital media, social media, content development, communications, and events. You will assist in creating and managing campaigns, along with interdepartmental omni-channel campaign planning. The role requires a high level of adaptability, creativity, and strategic planning. As the Supervisor you will ensure stakeholder alignment with campaigns, monitor campaign metrics, enhance awareness to the brands content strategies, and optimizing the return on advertising spend (ROAS). This role will oversee the Corporate Graphic Designer, and Content/ Communications Coordinator roles.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a rich background in marketing roles, having progressively taken on more responsibility. Their journey would include hands-on experience in campaign management, market research, and digital marketing strategies. An individual who has is highly motivated with a collaborative mindset, possessing strong creative thinking skills, detailed acumen, and the ability to efficiently multi-task. They should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, comprehends the dynamics of retail marketing, where a mix of well-planned campaigns and swift reactions to evolving consumer demands is essential. Familiarity with community work and community building is beneficial, given the widespread scope of responsibilities encompassing our stores across Canada. An appreciation for real-time involvement and proactive engagement is highly recommended for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Creative Direction

  • Development of creative concepts and strategies for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and written content.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

Digital and Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement digital and social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Oversee the planning, creation, and scheduling of content across various digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media channels, email campaigns, and blogs.
  • Analyze performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing campaigns.

Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing plans that align with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing campaigns effectively.

Leadership

  • Provide leadership and direction to your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow within the organization.

Safety

Follow all Peavey Industries safety policies, procedures, and protocols, report any accidents/incidents, near misses, injuries and concerns to your manager or a health and safety committee representative, and work in a safe manner that ensures the health and safety of themselves and all other on the work site (including but not limited to Peavey staff, vendors, customers, etc.), this includes working in a manner that is in alignment with and promotes psychological and social well-being.

Working Conditions

  • Office (3 days/week – Mon/Fri: Remote)

Travel

  • Yes, Domestic Occasional

Qualifications:

  • Education in marketing or a related field / equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years' or more of related work experience.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a leadership role
