Academic Cardiothoracic Radiologist Full-time

EFW Radiology is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled cardiothoracic radiologist for a full-time permanent position. Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging is preferred, and trainees planning such fellowships are encouraged to apply to explore future opportunities.

EFW Radiology exclusively serves The Foothills Hospital, Calgary’s major academic center located beside the Cumming School of Medicine, as well as the South Health Campus, the newest hospital in Calgary. Additionally, EFW operates multiple clinics across the community, offering outpatient X-rays, ultrasounds, and mammography services.

The cardiothoracic imaging division oversees a well-established and expanding clinical practice covering adult thoracic and cardiovascular services, including radiography, CT, and MR imaging. The Division is actively engaged in diverse educational activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

The preferred candidate will provide consultations across the full spectrum of cardiothoracic imaging and participate in weekly multidisciplinary chest conferences, including tumor boards, interstitial lung disease discussions, and case review rounds in collaboration with the Division of Respirology. Additionally, participation in the body on-call schedule and in our clinics is expected. Proficiency in diagnostic mammography (non-procedural) is desirable.

Candidates must hold certification in Diagnostic Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
