Do you thrive on optimizing processes and building strong cross-functional partnerships? Join our dynamic team as a Financial Reporting Manager and play a crucial role in our company's financial success. The Financial Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in our SEC financial reporting team and be a key collaborator with cross-functional teams in process improvement. You will also be a key leader in implementing new process and system enhancement projects within the accounting team and assist with our SOX readiness project. The role will also be assisting with technical accounting under US GAAP.What You Will Be DoingResponsible for SEC reporting requirements, including accelerated reporting timeline and working with the internal audit leaders on SOX certification.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with United States GAAP.Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders by researching and applying US GAAP to unique, significant, and/or non-routine transactions, including our product, corporate development, and legal teams.Ensure appropriate documentation of accounting and reporting conclusions for complex business transactions.Lead the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries or equity investments, including financial reporting integration to our consolidated results and integration of ERP.In partnership with the Corporate Accounting team, lead projects to streamline processes in order to meet SEC reporting requirements.Optimize the use of tools and accounting-related systems to leverage automation and create efficiencies in the financial reporting process.Work collaboratively across the accounting leadership team on continuous improvement of accounting controls and processes.Ad hoc projects, as required.Basic RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent.Certified Public Accountant.6+ years of experience.Bonus PointsPrior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and industry experience at a tech company.Prior experience in one of our core industries (i.e. Gaming, Media & Entertainment and Financial Services).Experience in leading cross-functional projects.Familiar with SEC reporting rules.Comfortable working in a fast-paced tech environment, particularly during growth.Tech savvy and seek to utilize technology to drive efficiencies.Resourceful and "roll up your sleeves" to make things happen.Salary RangeThe typical salary range for this position is from $96,000-$132,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
