Our Opportunity

The AppSec Admin team sits in the Application Security division focused on leading Snyk into the Enterprise. Team AppSec Admin focuses on the tools used to manage Snyk at scale. We increase Snyk’s ability to manage, support, and sell its platform, allowing us to deliver the functionality and configuration necessary for each and every customer.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Pair-programming and collaboratively building the services that power Snyk’s user experience.
• Using best practices and new technologies to maintain and extend our existing services
• Working across the full stack and entire development life cycle to build, test, deploy, and support high-quality, reliable, fast services
• Collaborate on architectural decisions for performant and maintainable solutions
• Promote code quality through reviews and best practices
• Participating in our on-call rotation (compensated)

What You’ll Need:

• Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Go, or willing to learn
• Commitment to code quality and constructive code reviews
• Experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience collaborating on UX with members of a design team
• Proactive attitude and accountability, along with an appreciation for independence
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to change
• Comfortable with pair programming or willing to learn
