Expected Salary Range: $101,122.00 - $126,403.00 - $158,003.00 
 

Our typical hiring range will be +/- 5% of the midpoint shown above

JOB SUMMARY


The Manager, Enterprise Change is responsible for leading and supporting the change management strategy and plans including the development, delivery and communication of change management activities and programs, ensuring that BCLC projects and strategic initiatives meet desired business outcomes. 


This role will establish and drive the change management practice at BCLC through collaboration with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop and implement robust change management strategies. The Manager, Enterprise Change will guide stakeholders through the stages of change, assessing organizational readiness, addressing resistance, and leveraging human-centric design principles to drive successful outcomes.


The Manager, Enterprise Change provides strategic leadership to our Change team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. 


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leads and supports the change management strategy and plans for the corporate Strategy Delivery Program (CSDP), including overseeing the development, delivery, and communication of change management activities and programs.
  • Sets the overall direction of the Change team and implements the change management strategy by developing BCLC’s change management framework, processes, measurements, and tools to help drive successful change on corporate initiatives. Liaises with and supports business leaders in the structured use of BCLC’s change management framework, approach, and methodology.
  • Oversees all change initiatives, from planning and forecasting to execution and adoption, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and change readiness assessments on significant change transformation initiatives that have substantial risk, to define and understand the change impacts and potential barriers for a successful CSDP.
  • Communicates corporate change program practices at the enterprise level into functions, business plans and operations.
  • Influences leadership across business units to embed corporate change management program practices into BCLC’s activities, encouraging integration into business processes. Develops and leads behavior-changing initiatives to improve change management program adoption at BCLC.
  • Leads the Change Management Community of Practice (CoP). Develops BCLC’s change practice through implementing standards and best practices.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages critical relationships with various stakeholders to gain their support in championing change and ensuring its implementation and sustainment across the organization. Facilitates relationships and builds consensus to achieve the desired transformational results.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and communication of over-arching key messages, and to identify and understand change impacts to our people.
  • Manages a budget, consisting of salaries, contracts, and development resources, and provides direction to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and skills are accessible to execute in accordance with established standards and timelines.
  • Manages vendor performance and contracts including creating Statements of Work (SOW), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
  • Provides strong people leadership by championing BCLC's vision, mission, and Values in Action; practicing meaningful recognition; communicating with staff regularly; developing, coaching, and mentoring; conducting performance management, and supporting culture and change management initiatives.
  • Acts as delegate for their Director as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

A combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills may be considered.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline;
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in change management and/or project management;
  • 3 years’ experience leading a team of Change professionals;
  • Experience leading and supporting large-scale change initiatives;
  • Experience managing vendor and customer relationships;
  • Experience working in and leading cross-functional business teams; people leadership experience;
  • Demonstrated expertise at a management level of business planning and resource management.


KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in change management principles;
  • In-depth understanding of how people go through change and the change process;
  • Advanced technical writing skills, and able to write reports and document procedures;
  • Solid knowledge and experience in agile methodologies and tools;
  • Solid demonstration of interpreting data, making data-driven decisions, and communicating and presenting data;
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Preference may be given to individuals who have the following:

  • Certified Change Practitioner – PROSCI is preferred;
  • Understanding of B.C. gaming industry would be an asset.
