If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Enterprise Architecture Advisor to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).Enterprise ArchitectYour Role:As an Enterprise Architect, you will use your understanding and experience supporting organizations in public and private sectors to achieve their business outcomes through structured deployment of business applications, systems, interfaces and common components. Your role will be to help clients with strategic IT investments as they transform their organizations through a combination of business and IT improvements.In this role you will draw on your wide array of current technical knowledge, industry trends and previous experience designing IT solutions to help our clients through discovering, analyzing, designing and delivering architectural assets that support the enterprise, including working as part of project teams and at the enterprise level, defining strategic roadmaps and developing actionable plans for transformation.You will guide organizations in alignment of IT investments with their strategic goals and objectives, you will support governance over IT and security of data, and the management of application portfolios.Why the Role Is Important:Effective systems design is key to keeping projects on track long term. In addition, your expertise will help us during the pre-sales phase to make sure we have the best possible chance of winning new business. Finally, your guidance will help less experienced developers grow in their development skills resulting in an overall better team.Once You Are Here, You Will:Lead the development, confirmation and communication of the architectural vision to clints and development teamsEngage at the C-suite level with clients to provide enterprise architectural guidance and solutionsReview and develop strategic transformation plans and corresponding IT roadmapsProvide our clients with architectural guidance at the enterprise level and on projectsStabilize systems and processes to create a foundation for future growthDevelop and understanding of our clients’ current IT investments, costs, support needsDevelop future state enterprise architecture views and actionable plansSupport transition to new systems and retirement of existing systemsGuide IT innovation supporting modern digital experiences of our clients’ service offeringsProvide guidance on protecting data in the enterprise and migration of secure dataContribute to multiple projects in parallel delivering under triple constraint (time, scope and resources).Use internal tracking tools for potential and confirmed sales opportunitiesLead an internal bid team and provide guidance during the bid processRequirements10+ years’ in architecting, designing and developing enterprise IT solutions10+ years’ experience with a wide variety of technologies in large public and private sector organizationsLed enterprise architecture for at least two multi-year organizational transformations with defined outcomesExperience designing and developing solutions for commercial cloud hyperscalersBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceExperience providing IT Governance and guidance at the enterprise levelExperience using Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and TOGAF5+ experience with agile deliveryExperience in environments with protected and sensitive dataExperience engaging at all levels of an organization on both business and technical concernsExperience providing pre-sales support & comprehensive sales support including authoring or contributing to response for proposalsExperience with SalesforceDemonstrated ability to communicate and present at a very senior level using a variety of verbal, written and visual methodsTeam and client leadership experiencePreferred:TOGAF certificationAgile certification(s)Experience managing solutions/service line offerings through their entire life cycle and supports direction regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle.Experience applying advanced knowledge of application programming and the impact of the solutions on the business and IT functions.Demonstrated ability to direct large projects or offer complex programming solutions.Experience with migrating legacy applications to cloud-based platforms and management of secure access to data and resourcesIdeal Mindset:Lifelong Learner.
