We’re looking for a  Software Developer to be a part of making this happen. About the Role Arctic Wolf is looking for a software developer who loves solving challenging problems and enjoys working in a collaborative environment as part of a remote team. You will work with the best talent in the industry and have a chance to use bleeding edge tools to solve complex but interesting technical problems. It is our goal to have you releasing code to our production environments within the first two weeks. The specific role we are looking to fill is on our scanner team. You will be a part of the fast-paced and high-demand team responsible for looking after the ever-growing number of vulnerability scanners we have in the field. Notable challenges include managing and monitoring the scanner population at scale, always keeping the scanners secure and performant and optimizing software to get the most we can out of our hardware. Responsibilities: Own the entire life cycle of the software from building, testing, deploying all the way through deprecation of old software components. Write well organized, testable, and high performing code. Improve the resiliency of our test infrastructure and introduce new tests where appropriate. Identify and implement optimizations that help us, or our scanners operate more efficiently. Implement bug-fixes and contribute to on-going product maintenance.  Collaborate with other team members and external stakeholders.  Write clear and concise documentation. Support our customers with bug fixes and answers to technical support questions. Mentor and coach co-ops and new developers on the team. Who You Are The majority of our code base is written in Go, with some in Python. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a willingness to work with these languages. Working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and automated test tools.  Experience with cloud development (AWS, GCP, Azure) Understanding of CI/CD, Docker (containerization), and DevOps. Experience with secure network application design. Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix environments including troubleshooting and administration, using common tools identify system level problems. Experience with Agile Development. Experience with Databases, and database schema design (specifically PostgreSQL or another enterprise quality DB) Bonus Points:   Experience with Kubernetes. Experience with network appliances. Experience with test frameworks and automated testing.
