Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.We are looking for a Receiving and Shipping Supervisor for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.Responsibilities :- Supervise a team of 20 employees- Plan, organize, coordinate and control logistics activities while respecting quality, manpower, costs and deadlines;- Ensure the quality of products and services provided by the various carriers. - Participate actively with the dispatch team in identifying transportation solutions;- Ensure clear verbal and written communications with the various stakeholders;- Approve departmental hours worked;- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment;- Responsible for equipment used by the shipping/receiving department (maintenance and follow-up);- Evaluate, communicate and follow up on employee performance;- Organize and facilitate employee meetings and inform staff of policies, procedures and programs in effect;- Ensure accurate product inventory;- Develop a logical inventory storage system;Qualifications :- Minimum 5 years experience in inventory, distribution, operational procedures and personnel management;- Bilingualism;- Knowledge of MS office suite and ERP- Results-oriented;- Proven leadership skills: rallies the team to achieve a common goal;- Good management of priorities;- Organized/structured: able to multi-task and work independently and responsibly;
