Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator

The Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing various marketing and corporate materials and supporting the Business Development team with other marketing related project as required.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
 

• Create a variety of marketing materials in both electronic and print format including brochures, invitations, project profiles, and newsletters.
• Synthesize ideas into timely visual content and copywriting.
• Monitor and update corporate branding guidelines. 
• Coordinate website updates and new content implementation.
• Develop layouts for social media and internal portals.
• Design signage and posters for projects and ensure consistency across all projects.
• Design/create documents for internal communications. 
• Develop layouts for client proposals/presentations ensuring visual appeal and functionality.
• Lead or assist with client events/activities. 
• Work cross functionally with various departments to support their requirements for visual design. 
• Oversee and follow up with vendors to ensure quality performance and timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Be knowledgeable of our ISO processes and procedures.

Education and Experience:  

• Post secondary education in Graphic Design
• 3 years of Graphic Design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS Office.
• Web development and video editing experience would be an asset.
• Ability to synthesize high-level objectives into clear visual messaging.
• Creative and innovative thinker.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional communication skills and an eye for copy and imagery.
• Strong attention to detail/quality of work.
• Deadline driven with effective time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Self-directed, results-oriented, able to work under extremely tight deadlines.
• Strong collaborator who can adapt to different team dynamics.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with travel to job sites as required. Personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety boots & reflective clothing) required at all times when on site.
