Job Description As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at CRB, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. How will I contribute? You will be responsible for overseeing the discipline deliverables and budget on simple to complex projects of all sizes. You will coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors. You will manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and help direct the work of others on projects. You may act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, pre-con services for their scope areas, and help complete complex project code analysis, plan and prepare bid/permit/construction deliverables (including details and specifications), and understand the technical and design aspects of CRB's market areas. You will develop project documents (e.g. calculations, reports, and construction drawings and specifications) for clients according to regulatory and industry standards and work with other disciplines to ensure system designs are fully coordinated from conception through completion. You will also have the opportunity to provide mentorship to earlier-career engineers on projects related to HVAC, plant and clean utility, plumbing, and compressed gas systems. Responsibilities: Interface with clients and external partners Plan and direct work, manage a project budget from a mechanical design perspective on small to medium-sized projects of limited complexity Support proposal development under the supervision of a lead or senior engineer Identify basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight Lead intermediate project system design programming and master planning with support from Lead/Senior Engineers Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (alternatively, a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical Option) 10+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting Professional Registration (Licensure) Advanced experience with performing engineering calculations and developing and implementing HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing/drainage fixture, fire protection, and piping systems designs required Advanced experience with the mechanical/plumbing/fire code, and applicable building codes required Advanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting Additional Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design accredited professional preferred Intermediate experience with troubleshooting issues with mechanical systems required #J-18808-Ljbffr
